This afternoon, Israeli warplanes launched a series of violent and simultaneous raids targeting large areas in Lebanon, including the capital, Beirut, the southern suburbs, in addition to the south and the Bekaa. In Beirut, the raids were distributed on a number of neighborhoods, including Al-Basta, Al-Nuwairi, Barbour, Al-Msaytbeh, Ain Al-Mreisseh, Corniche Al-Mazraa, and Bir Hassan, in addition to the vicinity of Ain Al-Tineh, which led to a large number of casualties. The raids also targeted the southern suburb of Beirut in more than one location, not at one point, as they affected several areas, including Al-Awza’i, Al-Rehab, and Hay Al-Salem. The bombing extended to other Lebanese regions, as the city of Tyre, Sidon, Sarafand, Nabatiyeh and their towns (Habush, Kafr Rumman, Deir Al-Zahrani, Kfarjouz, Jabbaa, Ain Qana, Sir al-Gharbiyya, Ansar, Al-Qasiba, and Harouf) were targeted, in addition to Hermel, where martyrs and wounded fell in the center of the city. In the Bekaa Valley, the raids targeted the areas of Shamstar, Taria, the vicinity of Dar Al Amal Hospital in Dorris - Baalbek, and Karak in Zahle, and the town of Kayfoun in the Aley district was also targeted. The Israeli army announced that it carried out a large-scale attack targeting what it described as command centers and military infrastructure belonging to Hezbollah in various parts of Beirut, noting that it bombed about 100 targets within ten minutes.
